Ví dụ:

Đề không chỉ hỏi:

mà còn yêu cầu:

News Retelling

Ví dụ:

There were sometimes news reports on food. Food can get contaminated or be affected by dangerous bacteria. Talk about a news report you watched regarding a food scare incident.

Đề thường bắt đầu bằng:

I'd like to give you a situation and ask you to act it out.

Ví dụ:

You are at a clothing store and need to get some clothes. Ask two or three questions about the clothes you would like to buy.

Đây là dạng kiểm tra khả năng đặt câu hỏi để lấy thông tin.

5. Role Play – Giải thích tình huống và đưa ra phương án giải quyết

Role Play: Problem Solving

Ví dụ:

I'm sorry, but there is a problem I need you to resolve. The clothes you have ordered have arrived but one of the shirts has a problem. Call the clothing store and explain the problem. Give two to three alternatives to solve the problem.

Đây là dạng rất quan trọng.

Bạn cần:

6. Role Play – Đặt câu hỏi cho Ava

Một dạng Role Play khác là Ava đưa ra thông tin về bản thân và yêu cầu bạn đặt câu hỏi ngược lại.

Ví dụ:

I also live with my family now. Now ask me three or four questions about my family.

Bạn có thể hỏi:

How many people are there in your family?

Who do you live with?

What do you usually do together?

How often do you spend time with your family?

Chiến lược học hiệu quả

Điều quan trọng là không nên nhìn 18 dạng câu hỏi = 18 bài phải học thuộc.

Hãy nhìn chúng như 18 logic ra đề.

Ví dụ, chỉ với Topic Park, đề có thể hỏi:

Describe a park you often go to.

hoặc:

What do you usually do at the park?

hoặc:

Tell me about the last time you went to the park.

hoặc:

Tell me about an unexpected experience you had at a park.

hoặc:

Compare two parks you know.

hoặc thậm chí:

What problems do public parks face these days?

Topic vẫn là Park, nhưng cách trả lời hoàn toàn khác vì dạng câu hỏi đã thay đổi.

Vì vậy, khi luyện OPIc, hãy hình thành thói quen:

Bước 1: Xác định Topic

Bước 2: Xác định Question Type

Bước 3: Chọn Answer Structure

Bước 4: Lấy Main Ideas phù hợp

Bước 5: Bắt đầu nói

Khi quy trình này trở thành phản xạ, bạn sẽ không còn phải phụ thuộc quá nhiều vào việc học thuộc Sample Answer.
